Locate the name 'noise' and drag it from the 'Palette' window and into the 'untitled' document. You should now be seeing the same as in the 1st step. |

What is a 'brick'? |

|
A rectangular block used for constructing everything. There are many bricks available. Each of them is a small machine that perform a simple job. |
2nd step |

Locate the name 'text' and drag it from the 'Palette' window and into the 'untitled' document so its placed immediately below the 'Noise' brick. You should now be seeing the same as in the 2nd step. |

What is 'focus'? |
||
|
You control what you are looking at, by double clicking on a brick which gives it focus. Focus is indicated with an icon in the left side.

Locate the name 'blur' and drag it from the 'Palette' window and into the 'untitled' document so its placed immediately below the 'Text' brick. You should now be seeing the same as in the 3rd step. |

What are 'parameters'? |
||
|
A brick usually have a few parameters that controls different aspects of its behavior. Most parameters when changed will immediately update the output.

Locate the name 'shadow' and drag it from the 'Palette' window and into the 'untitled' document so its placed immediately below the 'Blur' brick. You should now be seeing the same as in the 4th step. |

What is 'propagation'? |
||
|
Propagation occurs when you give focus to the 'Shadow' brick and afterwards select the 'Noise' brick. Now when you change the parameters of the 'Noise' brick, the graphics will move through all the bricks below it. |
